About Hansi Police
Hansi is a city of municipal council and Hansi (Vidhan Sabha constituency) in Hisar
district in the Indianstate of Haryana. It is located at a distance of 26 kilometres
(16 mi) east of Hisar on NH-9. It appears that at one time Hansi was larger, more
prosperous and more important than Hisar. The town has several important buildings
of archeological importance.
In 2016, the Haryana government put forward a proposal
to carve the new Hansi district out of the Hisar district and on Dt. 19.04.2017
the Police District Hansi into existance. Pratiksha Godara, IPS was the first Superintendent
of Police, Hansi and now Nitika Gahlaut, IPS is the Superintendent of Police,
Hansi. After the existence as Police District Hansi the ratio of Criminal activities
fall very down and the relationship between Public and Police in Police District
Hansi are very helpful.
There are many famous historical places in Hansi as Barsi Gate, Kali Devi Mandir,
Jain and Buddhist heritage, Fort of Prithvi Raj Chauhan , Char Kutub.
